About the associationOur cultural association
Based in Saint-Denis, Shonen Kiltir brings geek culture to life from Reunion Island. The association promotes manga and anime, new-gen gaming, retrogaming, cosplay, K-pop, and Reunion Island artists and local initiatives. Each section connects the island’s communities with news, creative work and events from France, Japan and around the world. News, interviews, features, event listings and explainers provide useful context without losing the local perspective. Reunion Island initiatives are presented with identifiable sources and careful attention to image and creator credits.
The association also creates accessible opportunities to meet, learn and celebrate the people who bring these communities to life. Through Kiltir Geek, future workshops and original editorial content, Shonen Kiltir is building a space where young people, adults, families, artists and partners can discover, share and showcase a Reunion Island culture that is open to the world.
